We heard the story, Just Kidding by Trudy Ludwig. This story shows a realistic portrayal of bullying as it is happeing in our schools. The story does a nice job addressing the issue of the bully, and also teaching victims how to stand up for themselves and not be a victim.

Picture Retakes and Wear Blue Tomorrow

SMILE....Tomorrow is picture retake day. Fouth graders also are asked to wear BLUE for our All School Meeting. Our All School Meeting will take place at 2:15 this month. 

Sharing Schedule

Sharing is an important component of our daily morning meetings. We have been working hard at listening to each other share through whip shares, headline and details sharing and open shares. We have also been practicing asking and answering good questions.  Beginning, Monday October 15, we will begin a sharing rotation. Each child will have the opportunity to share once per cycle rotation. We keep sharing to news sharing and not show and tell. Please keep all objects, toys, and pictures at home. We are currently waiting for the boiler inspector to issue our certificate to operate the boilers. With the drop in temperatures over the remainder of the week, please watch the forecast and dress appropriately. Our classroom could be cold.
