Email Accounts

All students are now set up on email. Please refer to the letter that came home on Friday for your child's user I.D. and password. A copy of the letter is shown below. Please have the form signed and returned to school by Friday, so your child will be able to continue to use school technology.

Your child has recently been set up with a Gmail account through the GSL school district. This is your child’s personal email that is intended for academic purposes. This will be their email for their entire GSL “career.”

Your child is welcome to use the email for personal purposes at home with the understanding that the school district has full access to the account. We will assist as necessary at school, but will not be able to trouble shoot issues at home such as logging in etc.

These accounts will be monitored as necessary by teachers, administration, and our technology director and are held to the same expectations that are outlined in the District Technology Permission form that is signed by families each fall. Passwords may not be changed without consent of the classroom teacher. If a password is changed without permission it will be reset by the district. Please monitor your child’s email account at home as you would any other internet access.

Parents should continue to email their child’s teacher from their own email.
